This years Parade will take place on Sunday 11th November 2018 at Haringey Civic Centre, Wood Green.
This is the only event of the year we expect all members to attend as a significant event to the Country, and Scoutings history as well as a public presence of Scouting within our local community alongside other uniformed group.
Please see below some reminders and final details regarding this event.

We will meet for 10.00 in the car park behind Haringey Civic Centre.
Please make sure you sign in with a leader upon arrival.
Parking and road access may be restricted in the area due to road closures to allow the parade to take place. Please leave plenty of time- public transport may be advisable.
SCOUTS- Please note those on camp with us this weekend will travel to and from parade as a group as part of the weekends programme. More information will come out shortly for this event.

This is a FULL FORMAL UNIFORM occasion. Members are expected to be in neat, tidy and presentable uniform please. This means;
– Uniform Jumper (Beavers and Cubs) or Shirt (Scouts, Young Leaders and Adults) with all badge sewn on up to date.
– Scout Activity Trousers or Smart Formal Trousers- Navy Blue or Black
– Group Scarf and Woggle- For those who have been invested
– Smart Shoes
– A Poppy
- Group Hoodies, Polos, Trainers are not appropriate for this event.
- In the event of cold weather, make sure you have more layers underneath your uniform to keep warm as your uniform should be the top layer you wear on parade. There may be some standing around and you will be much more comfortable if you wrap up warm.
- In the event of wet weather the parade will go ahead but the service will be significantly shortened to avoid unnecessarily wet and cold young people standing around in the rain!

The parade will start and end in the Car Park of Haringey Civic Centre.
The service of remembrance will take place around the Wood Green War Memorial.
Spectators are more than welcome to watch the parade and/ or service.
Once the parade has been dismissed there will be refreshments available for all inside the Civic Centre.
