Cub Scouts form the second part of the Scout Group. Many Cubs will move up from Beavers and this enables us to build on the skills and expereince they already have for an even more adventurous and ambitious programme.

Their programme offers a huge variety of activities surrounding areas of outdoor activities, creative outlets and  whilst allowing them to explore different cultures and get involved in their local communities. Cubs are introduced to exciting outdoor skills and take part in adventurous activities, as well as camps and residential experiences.

The Cub Pack is split into smaller groups called Sixes, each one has a Sixer and Seconder providing opportunity for young people to take responsibilities for themselves, their programme and their friends by running activities and supporting the leadership team with the day to day running of the pack.

Cub Scouts also get to go on camp, trips and visits to places like museums, theme parks or local water centres. A wide range of camps and sleepovers are scheduled throughout the year including bushcraft weekends, overnight stays in historic building and joining larger scale events with other Cub Packs, or the rest of the Group.
