Scouts make up the third and final section of the Scout Group. As young people mature and develop a key focus of this section is to develop youth shaped Scouting providing vital #SkillsForLife as they become young adults.

The programme continues to contain a wide range of exciting and adventurous activities. These can now develop to a much higher level with an increased level of expereince and responsibility. Scout receive badges and awards in recognition of their achievements and there are sometime opportunities to complete formal qualification in outdoor activities particularly water sports.

Our members are encourage to involved in group life supporting leaders and younger sections with their new found skills and expereince as well as supporting the local community in which we are based.

Regular camps and other nights away opportunities take place approximately once a month. Recent trips have included hiking expeditions, sailing weekends,  bushcraft weekends as well as longer trips away to the Peaks, Wales and abroad and joining with our other sections.

Towards the end of a Scouts time in the section, members will take part in link activities with our local Explorer Scout Unit (Wild Wolf ESU) before moving on to their next phase of Scouting. In recent years this has included activities such as hill walking expeditions, supporting their community firework display and advanced kayaking sessions.
