Please note below details of this years Remembrance Parade.
As per our Group Code of Conduct and Commitment this is the the only event of the year we expect all members to attend.
It’s both an important occasion and one of the only public ceremonial events we attend to present Scouting to the community.
We will assemble and parade with a number of other uniformed groups followed by a short service at the War Memorial.
Cost: None
Travel: Please meet in the car park behind the Civic Centre for 10.00. The service will be finished by 11.30 and will be followed by refreshments in the civic centre.
Notes:
–FULL SMART UNIFORM is required including formal dark trousers, smart black shoes, uniform shirt with all badges sown on and your group scarf neatly rolled with a Woggle. A poppy should also be worn.
– In the event of inclement weather please wrap up in more layers under your uniform. If there is heavy rain, the service outside will be shorten accordingly.
– If you have lost your Group Scarf or Woggle please contact Dan (dan@9thmuswellhill.org.uk) well in advance to arrange purchasing a replacement.
