We are always looking for new adults to join our team. The more support the group has the more exciting and varied a programme we can deliver to the young people. Everyone has skills that can support the group and we welcome any offers of help and ideas. Whether you can support on a regular basis, once a month, or for a one off event of session there is a suitable role in our group.

Below is a list of our current vacancies:

Assistant Section Leader- Cub Scouts:

We are looking for an Assistant Cub Scout Leader to help support the our popular and busy Tuesday Cub Pack. The ideal person would regularly attend section meetings and be keen to get involved in planning and delivery of Pack Meetings throughout each term. The group is very active offering a wide range of adventurous actives to our Cubs including activity days, water events, camping and climbing on a regular basis. Meetings take place in Muswell Hill, Scout Park or other location dependent on the activity. Sessions run on Tuesday evenings from 19.00 – 20.15.

Assistant Section Leader- Scouts:

We are looking for an Assistant Scout Leader to help support the our popular and busy Tuesday Scout Troop. The ideal person would regularly attend section meetings and be keen to get involved in planning and delivery of TroopMeetings throughout each term. The group is very active offering a wide range of adventurous actives to our Scouting including regular camps, expedition, water activities and adventurous activities including mountain biking, wild camping, climbing and hill walking. Meetings take place in Muswell Hill, Scout Park or other location dependent on the activity. Sessions generally run on Tuesday evenings from 20.15 – 21.45 but this does alter depending on the activity with some room for flexibility as required.

Sectional Assistant- Beaver Scouts, Cubs Scouts and Scouts:

All sections would always welcome more adult support!

The nights away experiences, outdoor activities day trips etc that we run all require a certain adult to young people ratio for each section.  So by helping out wherever you can you can enable more young people to participate in the adventure of scouting

Importantly, section assistants provide support to our section leaders and assistant section leaders.  regularly attending or working as part of a rota of helpers ensuring the meetings and event for the section go smoothly.
